If you have never taken part in a race or a formal mountain biking event before, this is the time to get involved! It ain’t serious, no one cares how fast you are, it's all about having fun. The Summer Series takes place on Thursday afternoons over the summer school holidays with a race format of two timed runs on beginner-friendly descents, with cumulative time. Behind all the fun is an incredibly hard-fought-for-sheep-stations inter-club competition between Dunsborough and Margaret River (MRORCA), culminating in the fancy dress Humble Cup and post-series windup at the Brewhouse. Round 1 - 27 December 2019 (note: actually a Friday!) - Meelup Round 2 - 2 January 2020 - Margaret River Round 3 - 9 January 2020 - Meelup Round 4 - 16 January 2020 - Margaret River Round 5 - 23 January 2020 - Lot 80 Eagle Bay Round 6 (Humble Cup) - 30 January 2020 - Margaret River To compete you must pre-register online before 27 December - after this hit the links in the individual events to register. More info, details and registration links are all on the event page. On the day you simply need to check in from 5pm onwards to confirm your attendance and grab your race plate.
